The Modular Headspace Comparator Kit comes with the following items

• Short Comparator Body
• Long Comparator Body
• 4 Inserts of your choice
• Comparator Stand

Each headspace comparator and bullet insert is machined from 17-4 stainless steel.  This material will prevent the inserts from wearing out over time.   What makes these comparators better from competitors kits, is their ability to maintain consistency in your measurement of either headspace or seating depth.  The comparator bodies are machined to give the inserts a little bit of “play” to ensure everything settles in nice when measuring your ammunition.

Our bullet inserts are machined to the bore diameter of the caliber you are reloading for. For example if you choose a .243″ (6mm) caliber bullet insert your bullet insert will have a .237″ bore hole to match the lands of your barrel.  Each bullet insert has a 3° lead machined into the mouth of your bullet insert to match the o-give of commonly used bullets.
