SAC Expander Mandrel Replacement Pins
The pins are made of 11-44 stress proofed steel, these items are not finished and will rust over time, they are not warrantied for rust or breakage.
* .338 Cal Mandrels will will need to be assembled and fed into the top cap assembly from the bottom, see photos and video for guidance.*
*.20 Cal Mandrels will have their own pins, if you break one, email Info@shortactioncustoms.com for replacement purchase*
You will need either the SAC Die Wrench or a small adjustable wrench the engage the flats on the decapping pin to tighten them.
SAC Expander Mandrel Kit
The SAC Expander Mandrel Kit bridges the gap between our carbide standard and decapping expanding mandrels, by being convertible into both. This will give you the flexibility of choice between a decapping mandrel or a standard mandrel.
Each Mandrel kit will ship with a Thread Protector and 5 different pins that will allow each mandrel to work with all Short Action Customs Modular Sizing Dies, sometimes in conjunction with 1 to 4 .025 shims placed between the e-clip and the topcap.
Decapping pins are replaceable and can be purchased here
