Returns and Guarantee

Short Action Customs is only concerned with offering the best products and services.

We will approve the return of an order if the order has incorrect specifications on parts or services within 30 days of receipt by the buyer. SAC will inspect the rifle and fix all incorrect specifications. If the rifle cannot be fixed SAC will issue a refund within 60 days.
Once a deposit is made NO refunds can be issued.
Returns on SAC Original products are accepted within 30 days of original purchase date, must be in new unused condition, and must have been purchased directly from Short Action Customs. Purchases made from 3rd party retailers must be returned to that 3rd party retailer. All refunds and/or cancellations will incur a 5% processing fee. Some refunds may be subject to an additional 20% restocking fee if they are over the 30 day window.

We warranty original Short Action Customs products from manufacturing defects for the lifetime of the product. Cosmetic defects and normal wear & tear are not covered in this warranty.
If your item was purchased from a 3rd party retailer, contact that retailer for warranty claims.

The shipping method chosen determines the method used to ship, not the timeframe in which the product leaves our facility.
Short Action Customs is not responsible for shipper delays.
Once an order has been placed via the website, we will not swap the items ordered for different items, regardless of equal value or shipping status.
If multiple separate orders are placed via the website, we will not combine those orders into one and refund the difference, they will ship separate.
There is a 3-5 day processing time when placing an order. We are not Amazon and need time to process orders and get them out the door in a timely fashion. On Holidays and Peak Business season, this may extended to 6-8 weeks.

Our goal is customer satisfaction through our products and services. If any of our products or services fall short in performance or function, please contact us and we will work with you to ensure you are satisfied with your Short Action Customs products and services. With our rifle builds, we guarantee our standard rifles will shoot 1/2 MOA or better with properly handloaded ammunition or approved factory ammunition for the firearm. With larger magnum calibers in light weight configurations, or any hunting style rifle we guarantee 3/4 MOA accuracy with properly handloaded ammunition or approved factory ammunition for that firearm. This is simply because magnum rifles with light weight components are harder to shoot accurately for a variety of reasons. If you plan on supplying parts for your build we do not extend our accuracy guarantee only a craftsmanship guarantee. We can only guarantee rifle parts purchased directly through Short Action Customs as often times customers buy parts off online avenues that have issues thus leading us on a wild goose chase to fix issues from parts supplied to us that would have never worked. The customer will be responsible for reaching out to the manufacturers of the parts supplied to troubleshoot. If those manufacturers deem us responsible we will accept liability at that point and provide a warranty for the accuracy.
